ITOKI CORPORATION (headquarters: Chuo-ku, Tokyo; President and CEO: Koji Minato) handled the entire process of creating the space for Mitsubishi Research Institute DCS Co., Ltd.'s (headquarters: Minato-ku, Tokyo) headquarters, from concept planning to interior design, graphic signs, plants, and AV/ICT equipment coordination, with the support of the client and other related parties. This project has now been made public on the design gallery site "ITOKI WORK-Style Design," which introduces cutting-edge spatial examples from a designer's perspective.

The theme of this project was "Grow Up!", and we aimed to create a base where employees and the company can grow together. The new office has a total floor area of approximately 9,800 m2 and consists of three floors, and the story of the growth of the company and individuals is expressed throughout the office. The internal staircases connecting each floor are not simply a means of transportation, but are designed as a place where employees can meet and talk with each other spontaneously. The walls are decorated with original graphics, including a single tree that symbolizes growth, creating a space where the concept can be experienced visually as well.

Each of the three floors has its own theme. The sixth floor is "GROUND," the foundation for development. The seventh floor is "MOUNTAIN," a place that encourages growth. The eighth floor is "SKY," symbolizing further development. The thematic spatial composition has created an impressive office that combines functionality and beauty, creating a place where workers can work comfortably and encourage free thinking and new communication.
