Title of winning work: Crossa WOOD
This wooden chair, designed for work settings, has the silhouette of a dining chair but can be folded, stands on its own, and can also be nested for storage. The back and seat are made of solid chestnut, a Japanese hardwood. Chestnut has a low density and is lightweight, making it well suited to furniture that requires mobility, and the product weighs just 5.2 kg, making it easy to carry. Karimoku Furniture's expertise has been applied to create a beautiful finish that makes the most of the chestnut's bright expression, adding even more richness to the timeless form.
