ITOKI adds easy-to-clean leather finish to its popular study chair "KS32." New release on August 27th.

The long-awaited PVC leather version of the popular swivel chair for learning, which has sold over 75,000 units, is now available. It is also on display at ZA SALON TOKYO.

ITOKI CORPORATION (Head office: Chuo-ku, Tokyo; President and CEO: Koji Minato) will release an easy-to-clean PVC leather version, "KS32-L," on Wednesday, August 27th, in addition to the "KS32" swivel learning chair, which supports children's learning and is packed with features that help them maintain good posture and concentrate on their studies.

To coincide with the release, the PVC leather type "KS32-L" will be on display at ITOKI's showroom, "ZA SALON TOKYO." Visitors can experience our learning chairs together with the "KS32."

The newly added KS32-L is designed to help children concentrate, just like the existing fabric type, but is made of PVC leather, which adds the new feature of being easy to clean.
It easily handles everyday stains and can be kept clean with just a quick wipe, reducing the burden of daily maintenance for parents and helping to create a comfortable learning environment.

Background of the new specifications

With the increase in dual-income households and the diversification of lifestyles, study chairs are increasingly being placed in living rooms as well as children's rooms.
The reason behind adding the leather type is that we received a lot of feedback from customers, such as, "My child's study chair seems like it will get dirty quickly," and "I want to choose a bright color, but I'm worried that dirt will be noticeable."

Made with PVC leather (synthetic leather) that is water-resistant and durable.
Food spills and dirty hands can be easily cleaned by simply wiping them off, making it hygienic as well.

The new addition to the lineup, the KS32-L, is available in three colors: navy, sky blue, and white, which will blend in with a wide range of interiors.

ITOKI's "Twice Series" high-end learning chairs for children have sold over 75,000 units since their release in 2010. The top model, the "KS32," is characterized by features that help children maintain good posture and concentrate, such as ITOKI's unique "Smart Rocking Function."
Its high functionality and comfortable seating have made it a long-selling product that has been chosen for many years.

1. "Smart Locking Function" that supports ideal posture

Itoki's unique, non-operational mechanism rocks naturally when you lean back. It provides firm support for your lower back in any position, from the correct posture that helps you concentrate on studying to a relaxed posture that promotes refreshment.

"Back depth and tilt slide adjustment function" allows simultaneous adjustment of seat depth and back height

ITOKI's unique ergonomically designed "back depth tilt slide adjustment function" (up to 8 cm) allows you to adjust the height and depth of the backrest simultaneously with a single action. This improves the fit according to the child's growth and physique, and naturally supports correct posture.

3. Seat rotation stopper to prevent children from being distracted

Even if the seat spins around and starts to spin, the lock lever on the support can be used with a single touch to switch it back and forth, helping to stabilize posture and support concentration while studying.
