Red Dot Design Award 2025 Winners

・ ADDCELL ADDCELL

ADDCELL Hexa is a private booth that supports a variety of activities, such as web conferences, interviews ADDCELL standing brainstorming, and presentations. It enables comfortable communication both in person and online. The open design with a large glass surface makes it easy to install in the center of the office, and when multiple units are installed, it is also possible to create a huddle space outside the booth. The floorless structure and wide openings support universal design. Installation takes only about three hours, so it can be flexibly introduced without the need for major construction work.

Designer's comment:
Akihiro Yamanaka and Kiichi Urakami, Product Design Department, ITOKI CORPORATION
"This product features all-glass design that emphasizes a sense of openness and simple furniture, achieving a design that does not feel oppressive despite its distinctive large booth. We hope that Hexa will serve as an iconic presence in the office and help spread new ways of working."

・Hoteling Label

Hoteling Label uses a small, completely wireless device that can be easily installed and expanded. By visualizing usage in real time, it prevents misuse and overuse of reservation times, smooths out space usage within the office, and realizes efficient office operations.
Using energy-saving electronic paper and wireless communication, it consumes power only when switching the display, so it is battery-powered and does not require wiring. In addition, it comes with attachments for desk and wall mounting, making it easy to install in a variety of spaces.

Designer's comment:
Takamura Eka, Product Planning Department, ITOKI CORPORATION
"We believe that the simple and easy-to-understand reservation display design and the high versatility of being cordless, allowing it to be installed anywhere, were highly evaluated, leading to this award. We hope that this product's intuitive display of reservation locations will enable comfortable use of office equipment and contribute to more efficient office operations."

・Refelt

Refelt is an environmentally friendly chair made of polyester felt containing approximately 50% recycled PET fibers. Felt is durable, breathable, and lightweight, and is manufactured domestically to reduce CO2 emissions. The 3D press-molded back and seat shell is designed to envelop the body, with flanges that function as armrests. The high-tensile steel leg frame creates a light feel. In addition to two colors of felt, a variety of upholstery fabric options are also available, giving a sophisticated impression to the office space.

Designer's comment:
ITOKI CORPORATION Product Design Department Kohei Wada, Shunta Naruse
"This design was made possible not only by considering a manufacturing process with a low environmental impact, but also by challenging ourselves with highly advanced manufacturing techniques. We hope that the Refelt Chair, which is particular about comfort and detailed finishing, can contribute to creating a comfortable office environment."

・Centra

Centra is a big table that naturally connects individual work and communication. As hybrid work progresses, the office is expanding to be a place to work as well as a place to connect with people. Centra is designed as a table that connects diverse work styles and allows people to freely choose the place. The unique shape of the tabletop and the arrangement of the legs that support the edge of the tabletop with a single leg create a natural space between people, creating a comfortable sense of distance and natural interaction. The stable form also brings a sense of calm to the space. The sturdy, thick legs and low-positioned beams create a moderate sense of weight and naturally guide the gaze downward. This creates a sense of stability in the space, creating a warm atmosphere where people can think deeply and enjoy leisurely conversation.

Designer's comment:
ITOKI CORPORATION Product Design Department Yukiyoshi Kato and Koji Yamashita
"We designed it with an emphasis on functionality for working, the sense of distance between people, and the comfort of the people who spend time there. People gather, think, talk, and new ideas are born. We would be delighted if this comfortable rhythm of space is created, and if it becomes an even more beloved place for many people to work."
