ITOKI renovates Yokohama Office Plaza into a workspace that will increase attendance rates and engagement
Introducing examples of office designs that are a source of pride for Yokohama, fostered by its scenery and culture
ITOKI CORPORATION (Head office: Chuo-ku, Tokyo; President and CEO: Koji Minato) is pleased to announce that it has completely renovated one of its offices and showrooms, the Yokohama Office Plaza, and has unveiled it on its design gallery site, ITOKI WORK-Style Design, which explains examples of cutting-edge spatial design from a designer's perspective.

Sixteen years have passed since the last renovation at Yokohama Office Plaza, and the decline in attendance and engagement had become an issue. Taking advantage of the opportunity to co-locate with a group company, a full renovation was carried out and the design concept "Your Stand" was established. This concept combines the "Y" from Yokohama with "your" and "our," aiming to create an office that employees will naturally want to stop by.
Taking advantage of the fact that Yokohama is a cultural gateway, the spatial design is reminiscent of a hotel lounge as a social gathering place. A raised area has been installed by the windows overlooking the bay area, highlighting the beauty of the landscape and naturally drawing the eye to the products placed there.
A survey conducted after the renovation confirmed that attendance rates and engagement had increased significantly, contributing to the branding of Yokohama Office Plaza.

What is ITOKI WORK-Style Design?
This is a design gallery site that opened in December 2023 and explains cutting-edge examples of spatial design that our company has worked on from a designer's perspective. As human capital management that increases corporate value is attracting attention, reviewing the working environment is cited as one of the effective measures to improve employee productivity and engagement. With the theme of "Realize," this site provides various content that will give hints to those considering office renewal to realize "an office that embodies the management philosophy" and "an office that people want to visit." The examples will be updated regularly, and in addition to a wealth of visuals of the latest offices, the designers in charge will explain the customer's thoughts and interiors that were incorporated into the design concept, and introduce our company's unique designers.
