Itoki renews its core system in about three years, establishing a digital transformation platform with cloud-based ERP and moving away from legacy systems
With the aim of "standardizing, simplifying, and automating" operations, the final phase of SCM is now operational, enhancing operational excellence
ITOKI CORPORATION (Headquarters: Chuo-ku, Tokyo; President and CEO: Koji Minato) has been promoting a company-wide business reform project centered around the introduction of Oracle's cloud ERP and cloud SCM in order to revamp its aging, scratch-developed core business systems, with an eye on the "2025 Cliff." We are now pleased to announce that the SCM module, the final phase of the project, has gone live. This will further strengthen the company's management foundation and enable it to realize a flexible, data-driven management structure.

This project is a key initiative of the mid-term management plan "RISE TO GROWTH 2026" (2024-2026) and aims to "standardize, simplify and automate" operations, with EPM (advanced management) and FIN (advanced accounting) being introduced in stages from 2023. With the launch of SCM, which provides integrated management from orders to sales, the company's entire mission-critical operations have now been transferred to the cloud platform.
The cloud ERP implementation project was not simply a system replacement, but rather involved a design based on "what business should be like" as part of business transformation, and reconsidered operations that were developed independently and dependent on individual skills. We identified and focused on areas where existing business operations did not match the "standard processes" of the package as key points for business reform, and decided on a reform policy. When in doubt, we adopted the principle of "don't do it, don't make it," and by reviewing the independent development and dependent on individual skills, we were able to standardize data structures and reduce input work.
Going forward, the company aims to achieve accurate and speedy customer service by implementing cloud-based SCM, which will enable real-time information sharing across departments, centralize master management, and promote paperless operations. Furthermore, the company will promote on-site-led business improvements and continuous data utilization to achieve further operational excellence.
