ITOKI CORPORATION (Headquarters: Chuo-ku, Tokyo; President: Koji Minato) has been selected as a "Tokyo Metropolitan Sports Promotion Model Company (Sports Practice Category) for FY2024." This is the fourth time that the company has been selected as a model company, following FY2015, FY2021, and FY2023.

This is a system in which the Tokyo Metropolitan Government certifies companies that promote and support sports among their employees as "Tokyo Sports Promotion Companies." Among these, companies that are particularly engaged in initiatives that have a social impact or ripple effect are selected as model companies. In fiscal year 2024, out of the 583 companies certified as sports promotion companies, 10 companies, including ITOKI, were selected as model companies.

Based on the "Health Management Declaration," ITOKI conducts various activities to help employees work in a healthier manner, centered on the "Health Management Promotion Committee," which is composed of the departments responsible for health within the company. We are implementing initiatives.

At the head office (ITOKI DESIGN HOUSE), employees themselves practice new ways of working. The office has an interior staircase that allows employees to move up and down without using the elevator, and adjustable desks and tables have been arranged to create an environment where everyday actions naturally lead to increased walking and healthy activities. In addition, the company is actively planning and running a "health activity bonus" system and exercise events for employees.

Going forward, we will continue to further improve the health of each employee, and at the same time, aim to create a society where office workers can work in a healthy manner by proposing workplaces to customers.
