ITOKI Recognized as "Best Workplace" for the Third Consecutive Year in the "D&I AWARD 2024"

ITOKI CORPORATION (Headquarters: Chuo-ku, Tokyo; President: Koji Minato) has been recognized as a "Best Workplace"*1, the highest rating, in the "D&I AWARD 2024," Japan's largest award that recognizes companies working on diversity and inclusion, organized by JobRainbow Inc. This marks the third consecutive year that the company has been recognized.

What is D&I AWARD?

This award is the largest award in Japan that recognizes companies that are committed to diversity and inclusion. Based on a diversity score of 100 items consisting of five perspectives, "gender," "LGBTQ+," "disability," "multicultural coexistence," and "childcare/elderly care," certification is given in three levels: Beginner (certified score 1-20 points), Standard (certified score 21-60 points), Advanced (certified score 61-80 points), and Best Workplace (certified score 81-100 points).

  • Establishment of diversity consultation desk (2016)
  • Acquired next-generation development support company certification mark (nicknamed "Kurumin") (2020, 2022)
  • Recognized as a company that actively promotes the active participation of women with the highest 3-star rating on Eruboshi (2022)
  • Women's leadership support community "SPLi" launched (2022)
  • Supports the “100% Childcare Leave Declaration for Men” which aims to encourage men to take childcare leave, and joins the “IkuBoss Corporate Alliance” (2022)
  • Declaring ourselves LGBTQ+ ally inside and outside the company, and announcing our original ally mark and corporate logo (2022)
  • Introducing a “partnership system” (2023) that applies the same benefits and rules to common-law couples, same-sex partners, their children, and parents as legal spouses and family members.
  • Introduction of childcare leave reinstatement support subsidy system (2023)
  • Create a "DE&I WORKPLACE HANDBOOK" that summarizes the points to be focused on in spatial design that takes DE&I into consideration and distribute it to all employees (2024)
  • Conduct DE&I x WORKPLACE seminars to consider DE&I-friendly spaces for all employees and employees of group companies (2024)
  • Received "Gold" and "Rainbow Certification" in the "PRIDE Index 2024" (2024)
