More than two in three people say that their office environment affects their motivation
According to the survey results, more than two in three people (67%) answered that "the office environment influences motivation." This highlights the contribution that a comfortable office environment makes to improving motivation, productivity, and even a sense of belonging. In addition, improving the office environment, which is directly linked to increased productivity, has been recognized once again as an important issue for companies.

Office space per person has increased to 9.77 m², creating more spacious spaces to accommodate a variety of work styles

Demand for single-person conference rooms has soared, more than doubled from two years ago
The proportion of single-person conference rooms has increased sharply from 11% in FY2022 to 24% in FY2024. Due to the spread of telecommuting and the widespread use of online meetings, the need for sound-conscious web conference booths and interview spaces is growing. This shows that designs that respond to the diversification of work styles are progressing rapidly.
The main themes of office reform are "optimizing the environment" and "accommodating flexibility"
According to the survey results, "optimizing the environment" was the most frequently addressed issue in office reform (50.5%), followed by "building an office with an eye toward work style reform" (32.5%) and "strengthening communication" (21.4%). These results indicate that companies are developing flexible space designs and office environments that support new work styles in order to accommodate hybrid work and diverse work styles.
