ITOKI's spatial design example for "Optex Co., Ltd." is now available

On Monday, October 7th, ITOKI CORPORATION (headquarters: Chuo-ku, Tokyo; president: Koji Minato) released a case study of "Optex Co., Ltd." on its design gallery site "ITOKI WORK-Style Design," which explains the company's cutting-edge spatial design examples from a designer's perspective.

An office space that realizes Optex's new way of working, "Ripple Work"
"Ripple" means "ripple" in Japanese. Under the concept of "Ripple Work," the company has been promoting work style reform, aiming for a way of working in which employees' thoughts and actions spread like ripples, resonating with each other across departments and positions, and creating new value. This office renewal project, which was part of the reform, supports the update of work styles toward the realization of "Ripple Work" through the establishment of "Ripple Lab," where "communication through objects" can be exchanged in an open space, and the renewal of operational rules to a selective office where employees can choose where to work according to their own work style, and is committed to further improving engagement. The cafe space overlooking Lake Biwa can be used not only as a rest area, but also for a variety of purposes such as meetings, events, and internal study sessions, and is used as a place where employees can experience the "Optex-like" corporate culture and work style.

This is a design gallery site that opened in December 2023 and explains cutting-edge examples of spatial design created by our company from a designer's perspective. With the theme of "Realize," this site offers a variety of hints for those considering office renewal to create an "office that embodies our management philosophy" or "an office you'll want to visit." The case studies are scheduled to be updated from time to time, and in addition to abundant visuals of the latest offices, the designers in charge explain the customer's thoughts and interiors that are incorporated into the design concept, and introduce our unique designers.
