Dalton to exhibit at JASIS 2024, the cutting-edge science and analytical systems and solutions exhibition held from Wednesday, September 4th to Friday, September 6th
The new brand "MAGBIT" series for research facilities will be on display, including draft chambers and laboratory tables, and visitors will be able to experience the equipment at the booth.
ITOKI CORPORATION (Headquarters: Chuo-ku, Tokyo; President: Yoichi Odate), a group company of Dalton Corporation (Headquarters: Chuo-ku, Tokyo; President: Koji Minato), will exhibit at JASIS 2024, an exhibition of cutting-edge scientific and analytical systems and solutions, to be held at Makuhari Messe from September 4 (Wed) to 6 (Fri), 2024.
Dalton offers comfortable research facilities and research environments through local exhaust ventilation, environmental control, laboratory furniture, and more. "MAGBIT," announced in January this year, is a new brand for research facilities born from the approach of "designing the actions of researchers" based on the concept of "THINK Action." It offers new solutions that reexamine the behavior of researchers in research activities, eliminate various "bugs" that lurk there, and create smooth and beautiful behavior.
At our upcoming exhibit at JASIS 2024, we will be showcasing a lineup of products centered on flagship models such as draft chambers and laboratory tables under our new brand "MAGBIT." While touching the actual equipment just like in an actual research activity, we will introduce the "bugs" that lurk in daily research activities and the features of the "MAGBIT" series that eliminates "bugs."
An example of the action design realized by MAGBIT
・The MAGBIT handle and nozzle are integrated on the left and right support columns, and the height is the same, which makes intuitive operation possible. The nozzle side also has a slant on the side dent mechanism, ensuring sufficient internal effective area.
・The MAGBIT experimental bench is designed so that direct light from the lighting underneath the shelf does not hit the eyes, reducing the stress caused by repeated sitting and standing actions such as "the light source of the shelf comes into view" and "hitting your foot on the drawer underneath the tabletop". In addition, a slanted detail has been added to the bottom of the drawer underneath the tabletop to reduce the discomfort of your foot hitting it.
Main exhibit products (tentative)
・Low air volume draft chamber
We will be exhibiting our flagship model of a chemical hood with the largest internal usable space, as well as a model with a panoramic view thanks to maximum glass coverage on both sides and the back.

・Controlled air speed draft chamber
We will exhibit a model that houses an activated carbon unit on the back of the main unit, and a model that is equipped with Dalton's unique SUREPAC(R) SYSTEM and is suitable for synthesis experiments that generate small amounts of dust.

Dalton's research facility business
In the Dalton Research Facility Project, in order to realize the ideal image held by researchers, we consider the lab to be more than just a workplace, but an intellectually creative space, and based on this philosophy, we identify various issues that lie within the lab. We then implement problem-solving methods with a wide range of solutions based on the fundamental strength of our engineering capabilities, thereby realizing the optimal work style.
As a pioneer of low air volume draft chambers, we believe that we are in a leading position in the industry in airflow technology. We will continue to improve the most basic function of draft chambers, which is to contain harmful substances, and promote further technological innovation to ensure the safety and security of researchers.
Dalton's business
The Dalton Group is a long-established Japanese manufacturer founded over 80 years ago that has supported the business development and technological improvement of its customers in the relevant industries for many years, with the slogan "Towards co-creation together with our customers, who are the protagonists of value creation activities." The group operates eight businesses, including research facilities, education facilities, powder machinery, clean equipment, and semiconductor manufacturing equipment, and provides a variety of high-added-value products and services to customers at various specialized facilities such as research and development institutions and manufacturing plants for pharmaceuticals, chemicals, biology, food, and precision machinery, as well as educational institutions and medical institutions.
