Dalton to exhibit at INTERPHEX JAPAN 2024, an international exhibition of pharmaceutical and cosmetics manufacturing related technologies

Clean equipment and powder machinery will be on display, and operation examples and demonstrations will be given.

ITOKI CORPORATION (Headquarters: Chuo-ku, Tokyo; President: Yoichi Odate), a group company of Dalton Corporation (Headquarters: Chuo-ku, Tokyo; President: Koji Minato), will exhibit at INTERPHEX JAPAN 2024, an international exhibition where technologies related to pharmaceutical and cosmetics manufacturing will be showcased, to be held at Tokyo Big Sight from June 26 (Wednesday) to 28 (Friday), 2024. Dalton will exhibit at INTERPHEX JAPAN 2024, an international exhibition where technologies related to the manufacture of pharmaceuticals and cosmetics will be exhibited. Dalton's Clean Equipment Business and Powder Machinery Business will each have their own booths at this year's event, where visitors will be able to experience the strengths of each business through exhibits and demonstrations of actual equipment.

■ Clean Equipment Business Booth

The Clean Equipment Business booth will be exhibiting in the Sterilization and Cleanliness Zone, where we will be displaying various products that create a sterile and clean environment. You can see a new type of sterile isolator equipped with a unique decontamination system, a chemical hazard prevention cabinet that allows for the safe handling of powdered raw materials, and many other products that can propose DX in research, development, and manufacturing, which has been expanding more and more in the pharmaceutical industry recently. In the DX area, we will introduce examples of automation of the dispensing process of liquid culture medium and cell suspension, and culture operations using non-contact displays on sealed clean benches.

・Sterile isolator
It can be used for a variety of tasks in research and development and small-lot production, such as sterility testing, cell culture, filling, weighing, etc. We have recently developed a new type of isolator that employs our own unique decontamination system, and will be unveiling it for the first time at INTERPHEX JAPAN.

・Pure Q-be (Pure Cube: equipped with pharmaceutical robot TX2)
This is an isolation clean bench that can automatically dispense culture media and cell fluids. An ISO class 5 environment is created in the work area, and the robot performs the work. The system is equipped with a small pharmaceutical robot TX2-40 from global robot manufacturer Stäubli Ltd., and is also capable of decontamination.

■ Powder Machinery Business Booth

The Powder Machinery Business booth will be located in the Raw Materials Processing Zone, where we will be exhibiting the DOME-EX continuous granulation equipment system, a mixer and a real-time mixing degree measurement system using NIR. The DOME-EX system is a device that performs each batch processing process of precision mixing, kneading, granulation, and drying in one step. We also offer a PAT tool that is ideal for continuous production, with excellent content uniformity and long-lasting quality, as well as a lubrication mixer required before tableting.
We will also have many other actual machines on display, and you can consult with our expert staff during demonstrations.

・Continuous granulation system DOME-EX SYSTEM
Granules for tableting are continuously produced, and ideal granules are processed in one step. Multi-purpose production, excellent adaptability to various physical properties, realizing high-quality tablets. Low cost and high yield, reducing manufacturing costs.

・Screenless high-speed pin mill impact mill
The material is impacted and abraded between the rotating and fixed pins, which rotate at high speed, to produce fine powder.The simple structure allows for easy disassembly, cleaning, and assembly.
