A "Platinum Career" is a career that Japanese working adults should aim for in the post-COVID era, and is defined as one in which they personally practice three things: "long-term perspective," "independent learning," and "solving social issues." The Platinum Career Award recognizes companies that are taking the lead in creating such platinum careers.

Itoki is implementing many measures to achieve its management goals through a human resources strategy that places emphasis on expertise and diversity, with an "employee-centered" approach. Among these, the company was recognized for the following four points.
- In order to achieve the core objectives of its management strategy, the company is working to secure and develop specialized talent that can create new value by responding to technological innovations such as DX and AI, as well as reskilling existing employees to strengthen their expertise.
- As a measure to boost employees' motivation to work, the company has strengthened investment in its own offices, increased education and training, and promoted diverse work styles incorporating ABW (Activity Based Working*), fostering pride in its products and company policies, which has led to increased engagement. In particular, the company has achieved a significant reduction in employee turnover.
- The president and other executives hold numerous town hall meetings across the country, with many employees participating. They listen to employees' opinions, strive to understand the extent to which the system has been adopted, and promote two-way communication.
- The company policy on career autonomy is clearly stated in the training system and is presented to employees. After being shown this, opportunities are provided for employees to think about their own careers through career design interviews and 1-on-1 meetings with superiors, supporting independent growth and career formation. Training is provided for managers to properly understand 1-on-1 meetings, and efforts are also being made to improve communication skills.
- The 10 activities of ABW (Activity Based Working) are a concept created through research by Veldhoen + Company, a Dutch work style transformation consulting firm. ITOKI has formed a business partnership with the company to develop the ABW business.
Going forward, ITOKI will continue to promote the platinum career development of each and every employee, while at the same time aiming to realize a society where office workers can work in a healthy manner through workplace proposals to customers.
