ITOKI CORPORATION (Headquarters: Chuo-ku, Tokyo; President: Koji Minato) will establish a new "Overseas Hire Work in Japan System" on Monday, July 1, 2024, in order to create a workplace where employees who are hired overseas and work in Japan can concentrate on their work with peace of mind and fully utilize their abilities. Also, from the same day, the existing telework system "Work at My Place (work at a location prepared and selected by the employee)" will be expanded to overseas locations in addition to Japan. This will enable overseas hires to work overseas when they return to Japan temporarily, and to workcation overseas, aiming to improve employee productivity, demonstrate creativity, and even engagement.

In order to acquire highly specialized human resources, we are strengthening recruitment not only in Japan but also overseas. The "Overseas Hire Work in Japan System" provides support in all phases before, during, and after the assignment. In addition to various expenses related to travel to Japan after being hired overseas (passport, moving, travel, etc.), we also pay travel and accommodation expenses for the employee and their family when choosing a residence in Japan, and expenses for the employee to return home temporarily or for the family to return to Japan after joining the company. In addition, we provide leave for various procedures after the assignment and special leave for temporary return to Japan.

In order to increase the freedom of where employees can work, we have expanded our telework system and introduced "Working at My Place (working at a location prepared and selected by employees)" in 2022. With this revision, working at my place has been expanded not only to Japan but also to overseas. All employees can now work remotely overseas. It will also be possible for overseas employees to temporarily return to Japan, work overseas on overseas business trips, and work in combination with overseas travel, making "overseas workcation" a reality.
