Itoki opens "Carrozzeria", a co-creation space and development workshop that combines "laboratory function" and "showroom function"

Creating new innovations based on feedback from visitors visiting and experiencing environments similar to actual exhibition spaces such as art galleries and museums

ITOKI CORPORATION (Headquarters: Chuo-ku, Tokyo; President: Koji Minato) opened "Carrozzeria," a co-creation space and development workshop, on Thursday, October 26, 2023, within its Kyoto Factory (Yawata City, Kyoto Prefecture). The co-creation space and development workshop combines a "lab function" for planning and developing new products and testing prototypes for art galleries and museums, and a "showroom function" for inviting customers and stakeholders to view and experience new products and prototypes.

carrozzeria

At the co-creation space and development workshop "Carrozzeria" that we recently opened, we will be exhibiting a new type of exhibition case "Artivista" that beautifully creates spaces and arts and crafts, as well as sample cases and various material samples. By displaying products in an environment similar to the exhibition space, you can not only check the size, functionality, and operability of the products, but also experience the lighting and other effects in an environment close to the actual space.

Additionally, by incorporating feedback from museum curators, design offices, and related parties who have visited or experienced our products into our development, we will continue to provide products of even higher quality.

About the new display case “Artivista”

"Artivista" combines the four aspects of "design," "performance," "operability," and "protection of exhibits," and while creating a beautiful exhibition space and exhibits, it protects and protects arts and crafts in an optimal environment. This is a new type of display case that can be passed down from generation to generation, and has also been delivered to the Tokyo National Museum.
