What types of jobs are most likely to be “camera-on” during web conferences? ITOKI Metropolitan Area Hybrid workers Survey Results vol.2 released

Problems and points of improvement with web conferencing that vary by job type are also revealed.

ITOKI CORPORATION (Head office: Chuo-ku, Tokyo; President: Koji Minato; hereafter "Itoki") conducted a survey of workers hybrids working for companies in the Tokyo metropolitan area to clarify the challenges of "web conferencing," a hybrid of real and web-based meetings, as more people return to the office after Corona. Survey results details

The number one job category with the highest number of "camera on" people during web conferences is "human resources", with 63.0% basically turning on the camera.

When we surveyed hybrid workers in the Tokyo metropolitan area about the basic camera settings for web conferences, we found that about 40% of them set it to "Basically On" and about 60% to "Basically Off". 63.0% of respondents set ``Human Resources'' to ``On,'' a higher percentage than other occupations.
