Itoki establishes new label “Daidara” for gaming market

ITOKI CORPORATION (Headquarters: Chuo-ku, Tokyo; President: Koji Minato) today launched the "Act Gaming" product for extreme players (concept model to be exhibited at Tokyo Game Show 2022). At the same time, the company will also establish a new label for extreme players called "Daidara."
Act Gaming is a product that has been improved and developed for extreme players based on the office-oriented "Act chairs" (released in November 2018). The backrest has a smart design due to the elimination of side frames, and features unique features such as a structure that moves according to the movement of the shoulders and a 4D arm that can adjust the position of the elbows, making it suitable for use at home without shoes. The height of the seat is set low.

About the new label “Daidara”
"Daidara" is a label for extreme players.
The name of this label comes from the giant "Daidarabocchi" who appears in Japanese folklore.
The label name and logo design reflect the dedication and strength of this giant, who has been revered throughout Japan for preparing the land to help people.
In addition, one of the legends is that ``the soil of Omi was dug to create Mt. Fuji, and the excavation site became Lake Biwa,'' and Itoki, which has ties to Omihachiman in Shiga Prefecture, is a place for extreme players who aim to become the best in Japan. We chose this name as a suitable name for the product's label.
Future outlook
This time, we have released "Act Gaming" as the first product of the new label "Daidara". In the future, we plan to develop not only gaming chairs but also desks and other products as part of our ``Daidara Label'' lineup for extreme players.
