What is certification of organizations contributing to national resilience (resilience certification)?

Resilience Certification is a system that certifies companies and organizations that support the purpose of national resilience promoted by the Cabinet Secretariat and are actively working on business continuity as ``organizations contributing to national resilience.''
Examinations and certifications are conducted by the Resilience Japan Promotion Council, a general incorporated association that meets the requirements of certification organizations from the Cabinet Secretariat's National Resilience Office, and is used by not only local governments and large companies, but also small and medium-sized enterprises. The aim is to promote broader resilience of society as a whole by spreading active initiatives for business continuity (self-help) and social contribution (public assistance) in various organizations such as schools, hospitals, etc. .

Background of acquiring resilience certification

Itoki has identified ``business suspension due to disasters and accidents'' as one of its priority risks in its ``Risk Management Committee,'' and has been working to review and improve its business continuity plan and business continuity system.
In addition, we work with local governments at our offices and factories around the country to revitalize local communities and contribute to society. As a result of these efforts, we have been awarded the "Business Continuity and Social Contribution" certification.

Regarding business continuity efforts

ITOKI will carry out business continuity initiatives to minimize the impact of business interruption due to large-scale disasters and pandemics and the time required for recovery through training (business continuity) and business impact analysis (BIA). .
We will also review and improve business continuity so that our customers, business partners, and employees can rebuild their lives and businesses with peace of mind in the event of an emergency.
