ITOKI CORPORATION (Headquarters: Chuo-ku, Tokyo; President: Yoshiro Hirai, hereinafter "ITOKI") is pleased to announce that it has begun joint development of office products equipped with "iwasemi™," an innovative sound-absorbing material that uses acoustic metamaterial technology, with Pixie Dust Technologies Inc. (Headquarters: Chiyoda-ku; Representative Directors: Yoichi Ochiai and Taiichiro Murakami, hereinafter "PxDT"), a company that promotes digital innovation in the fields of hearing and touch. This office product will be unveiled at ORGATEC TOKYO 2022, an international trade show that proposes cutting-edge office environments, to be held in April 2022.

With the rapid expansion of remote work and the increase in in-office web conferencing due to the spread of the new coronavirus infection (COVID-19), the state of facilities has changed from gathering multiple people in a large room to narrowing down the use of small groups. We are shifting to a method.
