In recent years, as communication between patients and doctors has become more important, it has become an issue to create an environment in which even first-time patients can relax and easily converse with their doctor in examination rooms where many patients visit. In addition, with the spread of COVID-19, there is a demand for hygienic examination desks that are easy to clean.

Therefore, ITOKI developed the examination desk "regano" to facilitate communication between patients and doctors. The shape of the tabletop is diagonally wider toward the patient, so doctors can naturally face the patient even when entering data into the electronic medical record. In addition to the ease of use that allows doctors to smoothly perform examinations and palpations, safety and cleanability have also been improved.
