[New Product] Two new products in the "FlowLounge" series, a "place of connection" that enhances engagement in the office in the new normal era, are now available

ITOKI CORPORATION (Headquarters: Chuo-ku, Tokyo; President: Yoshiro Hirai) will add two new products to its FlowLounge series of space-creating furniture that brings a comfortable, welcoming atmosphere into the office, and will release them in November 2020.
As the number of work options outside the office, such as teleworking, increases, offices are being called upon to become "places of connection" that increase engagement.
In 2007, ITOKI launched the "FlowLounge" series, which uses a "garden" design motif to promote relaxation, bringing a comfortable atmosphere where people gather into the office. Now, 13 years after the launch, and with work styles changing dramatically, we have developed two products that correspond to the new office furniture label "BROWN LABEL" that matches the work styles of the new era: "Symbol Tree Furniture" that induces communication centered around a symbol tree, and "Table & Bench High Type".
Product Designer
Shin Azumi
Product Designer / Professor at Hosei University After graduating from Kyoto City University of Arts, he completed a master's course at the Royal College of Art (UK). After working as AZUMI in London, he established A Studio Design Ltd. He is active internationally in a wide range of fields, mainly product and furniture design. In 2016, he moved to Japan and became a professor at the Department of System Design, Faculty of Design Engineering, Hosei University.
Main features
Introducing plants into the office can help alleviate fatigue, relax employees, and promote communication and concentration, helping to maintain employees' physical and mental well-being. The unique shape of plants acts as a gentle partition, reducing the feeling of oppression.

2. Accommodates a variety of communication styles!
There are three types of benches and tables that can be set up around the plants. You can choose from bench type, table type, or high table type to suit your space.

You can choose from three different table and bench settings.
1. Create a sense of unity in your communication
2. For simple work or resting while facing a wall
3. Plants can be used for communication at a comfortable distance and for simple individual work.
