ITOKI TOKYO XORK receives Special Mention in German Design Award 2021
~A first for ITOKI in spatial design~
ITOKI CORPORATION (Headquarters: Chuo-ku, Tokyo, President: Yoshiro Hirai)'s "ITOKI TOKYO XORK" has received a Special Mention at the German Design Award 2021 (Germany), one of the world's most prestigious design awards.
This is the first time ITOKI has received an award for spatial design.
Overview of the Award-winning Facility
"ITOKI TOKYO XORK" is an office space that puts into practice the "next-generation work style," designed by integrating ABW (Activity Based Working), a spatial functionality requirement that maximizes the 10 activities of workers, with WELL certification (Gold level) that meets spatial quality requirements for maintaining physical and mental health.

About the German Design Award
This is an internationally prestigious design award organized by the German Design Council, which was established by the German Bundestag. To be nominated (a candidate for the award), a design must have won a design award from a country around the world, and only those recommended by the German Design Council can be nominated. For this reason, just being nominated is an honor, and the award is so prestigious that it is described as the "award of awards." The award consists of four awards in each category: Gold/Grand Prize, Winner/Excellent Prize, Special Mention/Special Prize, and Nominee/Nominee.
