ITOKI CORPORATION (Head office: Chuo-ku, Tokyo; President: Yoshiro Hirai) will release 12 new variations of the work chair "vertebra03" (selected by product designer Fumie Shibata) exclusively on the ITOKI official online store from September 2020.
The work chair "vertebra03," which transcends the boundaries between WORK-Style and "life," will soon celebrate its first anniversary since its launch in November 2019. As the COVID-19 pandemic has brought major changes to the way we work and live, "vertebra03" has offered not only functionality and design, but also a wide variety of unique designs that can be freely selected to suit your work style and space.
ITOKI is now releasing 12 new chairs to its standard collection, coordinated by product designer Fumie Shibata. With the addition of these 12 new chairs, there is now a wide variety of chairs to choose from to suit any situation or lifestyle, from the office to the living room. You can choose the chair that best suits WORK-Style and lifestyle from this large selection, and enjoy coordinating it with your space.

Fumie Shibata Representative of Design Studio S Currently working on projects with domestic and international manufacturers, ranging from electronics products to daily necessities, medical equipment, and total direction for hotels. Awards received include the iF Gold Award (Germany), red dot design award, Mainichi Design Award, G Mark Gold Award, and the Grand Prize, Special Cultural Award, and Gold Award of the Design for Asia Awards. Professor at Musashino Art University, she served as the judging committee chair for the Good Design Awards in 2018-2019.
Fumie Shibata
Representative of Design Studio S.
