[New product] New product "piohome" launched, which can be arranged into a "healthy office" just by placing it in a space of about 1 tatami mat
~A compact frame that can be used for both work and relaxation~
ITOKI CORPORATION (Head office: Chuo-ku, Tokyo; President: Yoshiro Hirai) will release "piohome," a compact frame that can create a "space" for staying healthy while working, in early February 2020.
As work styles become more diverse due to work style reforms, there is a need for places that encourage communication between workers and allow them to easily exchange ideas. In addition, it is known that long hours of desk work not only reduces productivity and creativity, but also has a negative impact on health (according to our research), so there is a demand for creating "places" where people can work in a healthy manner.
Following on from "PiOframe" (released in December 2016), which transforms gathering places into healthy offices, ITOKI has developed a new compact product, "piohome," that can be placed in work areas with limited space. By naturally gathering people in the work area where people spend most of their day, the quality of communication is improved and it encourages a shift from desk work, creating a "place" that has a positive effect on health and work performance.

With half the area of the PiOframe, it can be placed in a small space.
2. Options that naturally encourage postures that are not normally possible in the office
Leaning Band
You can lean on it to take a break during a conversation, or use it to gain momentum and do some light exercise.
Hanging rings
When attached to the ceiling of the main unit, it is a key item that makes you want to bite it. The wooden hanging rings are the same specifications as those used in gymnastics.
Pole cushion
Increase the variety of postures during standing meetings.
Calf Stretch Board
By riding the board, you can stretch your calves, which tend to tire easily.
