ITOKI CORPORATION (Head office: Chuo-ku, Tokyo; President: Yoshiro Hirai) will launch "ADRED," a new series of partition products with high design quality and soundproofing properties.

Since the appearance of slim-frame glass partitions in the early 2000s, the building materials market has been dominated by the use of steel, which excels in durability and sound insulation, and glass, which excels in transparency and design, each taking advantage of their respective characteristics. However, in recent years, as the trend has shifted significantly from steel to glass partitions, expectations have grown for glass partitions to also combine design and sound insulation.

The main concept of this product, ADRED, is "Seamless is More," and it is a completely new product that combines high design quality and high sound insulation performance with continuity as its keyword.

As the main concept of this product, "Seamless is More," indicates, we were conscious of the continuity of the partition surface and horizontal lines, and by pursuing a design that pursues the bare minimum, we were able to achieve a seamless and minimalist design by eliminating unevenness and excessive lines. Normally, door frames and double glass have many advantages in terms of manufacturing and installation if they reach the floor, but with this product, we designed it with design as the top priority. This makes it possible to draw a "single continuous line" that will not be interrupted no matter what style is used.

For the panels, we have achieved a high level of design that makes the most of a variety of surface materials by minimizing joints, minimizing baseboards, and standardizing corners, etc. For the doors, we have also minimized joints and frames to minimize unevenness visible through the glass, resulting in an extremely clean appearance.

Regarding the sound environment, ITOKI has achieved both design and sound insulation by incorporating the sound insulation technology it has cultivated up to now. In addition to the sound insulation performance of steel panels and double glass, we have also pursued the sound insulation of fittings in order to maintain the sound insulation performance of the room as a whole. It is possible to configure a high-quality space that is backed not only by design but also by performance. Furthermore, in terms of safety, we are developing the product under the idea of increasing the safety of the entire space by using non-combustible materials (both individually certified and legally non-combustible materials) for the fittings finishing.
