Signed the United Nations Global Compact (UNGC), a platform for corporate policy formation committed to sustainability and responsible business
ITOKI CORPORATION (Head office: Chuo-ku, Tokyo, President: Yoshiro Hirai, hereinafter referred to as ITOKI) signed the United Nations Global Compact (hereinafter referred to as UNGC) on Thursday, June 28, 2018, and joined the Global Compact Network Japan (GCNJ), a local network in Japan. *General Member
The UNGC is a voluntary initiative in which companies and organizations in 161 countries around the world demonstrate responsible and creative leadership in order to act as good members of society and participate in the creation of a global framework for achieving sustainable growth.
Based on its vision statement of "Vibrant People, Beautiful Planet." Itoki supports the 10 principles in the four areas of "human rights," "labor," "environment," and "anti-corruption" that the UNGC requires participating companies to address, and will continue to work toward their realization.
