Providing a comfortable working environment at Narita Airport from the perspective of office creation

- A free space to enhance convenience for airport users -

ITOKI CORPORATION (headquarters: Joto-ku, Osaka; president: Yoshiro Hirai) and Narita International Airport Corporation (headquarters: Narita, Chiba; president: Makoto Natsume) will open "ITOKI -seating area-" and "Knoll -seating area-" in the area after passport control at Narita International Airport's Terminal 1, enabling passengers to work in a comfortable environment before their flight.

This space was created in collaboration with Narita International Airport Corporation's renewal plan to cater to the increasing number of foreign visitors to Japan in the future.

Itoki, which stands for "We Design Tomorrow. We Design WORK-Style.," supports activities that enhance the work environment and productivity of workers. This initiative was realized as an attempt to increase the productivity of workers by creating a full-fledged working space in a public space.

By providing a space in the airport where it is easy to work in the same full-fledged manner as in the office, we believe we can reduce the workers burden of having to carry large luggage to the office and then to the airport when traveling overseas. Itoki is also researching ways of working that make effective use of travel time itself.

The space is equipped with interior design representative of office furniture manufacturer ITOKI.
Comprised of three spaces, "NEW WORKSTYLE," "COMMUNICATION," and "FOCUS," this space embodies ITOKI's vision of "tomorrow's work."

The interior is furnished by Knoll, a world-renowned North American furniture manufacturer.
Combining high comfort and design, the suite is made up of products from the Rockwell series, creating a high-quality space where airport users can relax and unwind.

Both the "ITOKI seating area" and the "Knoll seating area" are free spaces that anyone can use free of charge.
