ITOKI CORPORATION (Head office: Joto-ku, Osaka City, President: Yoshiro Hirai, hereinafter "ITOKI") has teamed up with a US partner to establish "Global Treehouse Corporation" in Aoyama, Tokyo, and will launch a membership-based platform business that will create the world's most creative community.

Global Treehouse will offer a variety of programs focused on "mind fitness*1," "creative being," and "innovation." The company will open a physical "space" that can be used on a membership basis, with a cafe/event and communication lounge on the second floor of the Aoyama Building in Kita-Aoyama, Minato Ward, and a mind fitness space, activity space, workspace, service offices, etc. on the third floor.

In Japan, there is a demand for improved productivity and innovation, and major changes are occurring in the business world, making it important to create new value through creativity and innovation. Collaboration that transcends companies and organizations is important for creating new value.

One of Global Treehouse's themes is "freedom." The company will launch a unique service that aims to realize innovation by using this workspace to promote free and active communication and collaboration, and by using one of the programs it offers, the "Innovation Curriculum."

Membership will be open to domestic companies as well as foreign companies, as well as individuals such as academics and artists, creating a space of freedom that transcends the boundaries of companies and organizations. Furthermore, the overall design has been entrusted to Roman & Williams, a New York firm that is highly regarded in Europe and the United States for its cutting-edge and unique designs.

Prior to the launch of the business, a prototype lab will be opened at the ITOKI Tokyo Innovation Center SYNQA (Kyobashi) to allow people to experience the workspace and programs offered at the Aoyama Building.
