Practicing "free-style" work that leads to work style reform

ITOKI CORPORATION supports the purpose of the national telework movement project "Telework Day" to be held on Monday, July 24th, and will participate as an organization cooperating in measuring the effectiveness of the project.

"Telework Day" is a national movement aimed at promoting "work style reform" in the lead-up to the Tokyo Olympic and Paralympic Games. The movement is being carried out primarily by the Ministry of Internal Affairs and Communications in collaboration with the Ministry of Health, Labor and Welfare, the Ministry of Economy, Trade and Industry, the Ministry of Land, Infrastructure, Transport and Tourism, the Cabinet Secretariat, the Cabinet Office, the Tokyo Metropolitan Government and economic organizations.

July 24th, the day of the opening ceremony of the 2020 Tokyo Olympic Games, will be designated as "Telework Day," and cooperating organizations will implement simultaneous teleworking between the start of work and 10:30 a.m., when transportation is expected to be crowded, in order to evaluate the impact and effectiveness of this.

In preparation for implementing telework, our company will have approximately 250 employees who commute to Chuo Ward, Tokyo participate and work from home or a base of their choice to verify the effectiveness of the "work style reform."

First and foremost, we will practice advanced working styles ourselves, and then use the results and knowledge we gain from them to develop products and services, and provide them to offices and workers in Japan, in order to continue to strive to achieve our mission statement: We Design Tomorrow. We Design WORK-Style."
