ITOKI launches new casual office chair "Mirezza" that flexibly creates a comfortable posture
ITOKI CORPORATION (Head office: Joto-ku, Osaka City, President: Yoshiro Hirai) will release the newly developed office chair "Mirezza," which offers a new sitting posture, in February 2017.
Recently released office chairs are equipped with various adjustment functions to accommodate differences in the physiques of office workers. However, it was found that only about 30% of people actually use these functions (according to a 2011 survey by our company), and approximately 70% do not use them properly.
Therefore, the Millezza Chair uses a weight-sensing mechanism that adjusts the rocking without any operation, and automates the "rocking strength adjustment function" according to the weight of the person sitting in it. This keeps the function that many people were unable to adjust at an optimal level, and you can get a comfortable rocking strength just by sitting in it, reducing fatigue and providing a comfortable sitting experience.
The backrest is a mesh-back type with a light design, and comes with a variety of options, such as a lumbar support mechanism, and is designed to flexibly support the back in response to changes in posture.
In addition, by adopting our original bending seat that flexes freely in response to the seated load and conforms to the body, we deliver an office chair with a comfortable seating sensation to the office workers while pursuing functionality and design.
The Mirezza uses fabric treated with Polygiene, an antibacterial and deodorizing technology that uses natural silver ions developed in Sweden.
By applying this Polygiene treatment to fabrics, it kills over 99% of odor-causing bacteria and cuts the source of odor. It is gentle on people and the environment, and its effects last almost permanently.
Origin of the name
Mirezza is a combination of the Italian words "mild" (gentle) and "brezza" (gentle breeze).

Lumbar support mechanism
