ITOKI CORPORATION (Head office: Joto-ku, Osaka City, hereinafter referred to as "ITOKI") President and CEO Yoshiro Hirai is pleased to announce that he has endorsed the action declaration of the "Association of Male Leaders to Accelerate the Success of Shining Women," which is supported by the Cabinet Office.

Itoki has adopted the corporate concept of "Vibrant People, Beautiful Planet." and aims to create a society where human happiness and the preservation of Planet environment can be achieved at the same time. As a member of a society where diverse people can coexist, we consider diversity to be one of our important management strategies, and in 2015 we established the Diversity Promotion Office. We have focused on promoting the active participation of women as an urgent issue, and have set goals such as increasing the ratio of women to 50% of our recruits, while also starting to work on changing the mindset of our employees through various activities.

Creating an environment that supports the active participation and growth of female employees will lead to flexible responses to social changes and the continuation of meeting customer expectations, accelerating the improvement of the company's performance. We will continue to promote activities to ensure that true female participation can be listed as one of our strengths.

Since the "Conference to Support Shining Women" held at the Prime Minister's Office on March 28, 2014, a movement by leaders from various fields to support shining women and women who want to shine has been spreading. In this context, a declaration of action was compiled by the "Association of Male Leaders to Accelerate the Success of Shining Women," made up of male leaders from companies that are actively working to promote the success of women.
