(Head office: Minato-ku, Tokyo; President: Hideyuki Ume) will be holding a brand launch event for "i+" at the Interoffice Osaka Showroom from March 8th (Tuesday) to 11th (Friday), 2016. During the event, "i+" items created by "i+" producer/designer Naoki Terada (Director and General Manager of the Design Department at Interoffice Co., Ltd.) and an installation by UMA/design farm will be on display. There will also be a talk show and party with Naoki Terada and UMA/design farm representative Yuma Harada.

"i+" is a furniture brand created by Naoki Terada, known for "Terada Mokei" and "15.0% Ice Cream Spoon", who has breathed new value into office accessories (whiteboards, telephone stands, coat stands) that were previously just accessories. The production of the products is done in collaboration with ITOKI, resulting in a high-design, high-quality finish.

At the event, UMA design farm, which sympathizes with this new challenge, will exhibit an installation using i+ products, which will show the possibilities of new office accessories.

The producer and designer of "i+" is architect and designer Naoki Terada. He designs and plans a wide range of spaces, from architecture to products, including the product brand "Terada Mokei" and the design of the ice cream spoon "15.0%" sold by the casting manufacturer Takata Lemnos. He proposes designs that evoke feelings of joy and abundance, and that make you smile when you make eye contact with someone. He currently serves as the director and general manager of the Interoffice Design Division.

Yuuma Harada

Born in Osaka in 1979. Representative of UMA / design farm. As an art director/designer, he works on book design, graphic design, exhibition design, etc. Since 2015, he has been a visiting professor in the Department of Spatial Design at Kyoto University of Art and Design. He has received numerous awards, including the Golden Butterfly Award 2007, the Bronze Award at the Asia Book Design Newcomer Awards (Taiwan), and the Good Design Awards in 2011 and 2013.
