ITOKI launches new product "Pure Clean Coat Panel"
ITOKI CORPORATION (Head office: Joto-ku, Osaka City, President: Yoshiro Hirai, hereinafter referred to as ITOKI) has launched the "Pure Clean Coat Panel" in April 2015.
Pure Clean Coat (*1) panels are special steel panels coated with a photocatalyst that reacts to visible light, such as that found in indoor lighting, and are used on the panel finishing surface of steel partitions. This product inactivates bacteria and viruses that adhere to the panel surface, adding antibacterial and antiviral properties, and also has deodorizing, antifungal, acetaldehyde decomposition, and antistatic effects.
By incorporating it as a surface finish on the steel panels and doors of our standard partitions "Creapart" and "Infill Part," we will be able to provide partition products that are suitable for use in maintaining and improving the facility environment and adding value not only in office spaces, but also in the increasing number of medical facilities such as clinics, public facilities visited by large numbers of people, hospitals, and educational facilities.

Anti-mold performance
Regarding anti-mold performance, it has been confirmed that the panel has an excellent effect of inhibiting the growth of Penicillium pinohimum, a type of blue mold, on its surface.
Antiviral performance
The effectiveness of inactivation of the H1N1 type of influenza virus on the panel surface has been confirmed.
Acetaldehyde decomposition performance
The decomposition and activation effect of acetaldehyde, one of the substances that causes sick building syndrome, has also been confirmed.
Antistatic performance
It has been confirmed that this reduces the adhesion of dust caused by static electricity.
