ITOKI TOKYO XORK has recently renovated its offices to incorporate infection prevention measures based on the "Workplace Standards" for the COVID-19 era, in reference to the Japan Business Federation's "Guidelines for Preventing Infection of COVID-19 in Offices." Rather than creating a space that creates anxiety and pressure during an emergency, we hope to change the landscape of offices in the COVID-19 era by creating a design that reduces stress for workers.

Main features

To create a safe and secure working environment, upgrade your working style with COVID-19 by combining functionality and design!

workers returning to the office are worried not only about close contact, but also about the way they will be working.
With regards to seating, we have various arrangements in place, such as assigned seats and hot desking, and it is necessary to create a safe and secure working environment by making adjustments in each area.
We divided the areas into three areas: Desk areas, where density is likely to be highest; Communication areas, where conversations are likely to occur; and Plus areas, which are newly necessary due to work remotely, and created spaces that incorporate ideas that can solve problems for each area.

Infection prevention measures based on "workplace standards" during the COVID-19 era

The development of infection prevention products and the creation of spaces were based on the following standards.

The contents of this list were based on the "Guidelines for preventing the spread of COVID-19 in the office" issued by the Japan Business Federation.

Acrylic panels designed to promote positive feelings among workers who meet in the office

Even in spaces where people are working in close proximity to one another or for interviews, panels are placed to avoid a feeling of oppression.

Rugs are placed around desks where people pass by, and signs are installed on the internal staircase to remind employees to maintain social distance.
