In recent years, the use of hospital rooms for long-term hospitalization, such as rehabilitation beds, has been increasing in medical facilities. During long-term hospitalization for rehabilitation, accompanying persons spend a lot of time staying there, so there is a growing need for sofa beds that patients can lie down on during breaks. However, because the space inside a hospital room is small, it is often difficult to install such beds, and a compact design was required.

Therefore, ITOKI has developed the "Hospital Room Furniture HC Series Sofa Bed," which has a compact design equivalent to or smaller than a conventional two-seater sofa and can be easily converted into a bed by one person.
