ITOKI CORPORATION (Head office: Chuo-ku, Tokyo; President: Koji Minato) renovated on Sunday, November 5th the lounge space produced by ITOKI that allows passengers to work comfortably before their flights and has been installed in the 4th floor departure lobby of the South Wing of Terminal 1 at Narita International Airport since March 2018. Now, we have renovated the lounge area with the aim of further improving the satisfaction level of airport facility users. By reviewing the furniture and layout, we aim to create a space where not only the workers but also many other people can spend their time comfortably.

Two types of lounges provide a comfortable time for everything from concentrated work to relaxation.

We have prepared two different types of lounges so that many people can make the most of their time while waiting at the airport and before their flight.
In the work lounge, each person can spend quality time working, reading, relaxing, etc. There are a variety of seats, from open seats to closed seats, and we have created a comfortable office-like space within the airport where you can freely choose your seat. This renovation has improved flow lines and visibility within the lounge, making it a more friendly place for more people.
The open lounge is a space suitable for meals and communication. By maintaining an optimal distance from surrounding seats, everyone from one person to a large number of people can use the room comfortably. Near the entrance of the lounge, symbolic sofa seats facing the aisle have been placed to increase awareness of the area, and are designed to invite guests deeper into the lounge.
