Itoki contributes to a recycling-oriented society by matching with Cambodia and determining the age of office furniture!

ITOKI CORPORATION (Head office: Chuo-ku, Tokyo; President and CEO: Koji Minato; hereinafter "ITOKI"), in cooperation with NX Shoji Co., Ltd., has contributed to a recycling-oriented society by matching unused office furniture from Fujitsu Limited with Cambodia as a donation destination and assessing the deterioration of the office furniture as part of its efforts toward the SDGs.

As part of this effort, starting in 2021, we will be collaborating with NX Shoji Co., Ltd. to provide matching services to donate overseas "office furniture that can still be used" that has no place to go due to renovations or relocation. Through a new initiative to determine the age of decay, we are contributing to a recycling-oriented society by reducing waste.

As Fujitsu Limited promotes the concept of a new way of working in the new normal era, ``Work Life Shift'', we have decided to take a look at ``office furniture such as office desks, chairs, and cabinets'' that are no longer being used. By leveraging its past experience and know-how, ITOKI, in collaboration with NX Shoji Co., Ltd., was able to match the situation with Cambodia and determine the age of office furniture.

The donation from Fujitsu Limited will help create a comfortable working environment for Cambodian workers, and will also enable the circular use of used resources, allowing Itoki to contribute to a recycling-oriented society. I did.
