ITOKI CORPORATION (Head office: Chuo-ku, Tokyo; President: Yoshiro Hirai) will release "pulizea," a safe and secure patient chair designed for easy cleaning, in mid-May.

In outpatient treatment, where infectious disease control is important, creating a clean medical environment, including preventing contact infections, is essential. To address this issue, ITOKI conducted on-site surveys and conducted interviews with staff at multiple hospitals to develop a completely new product that is easy to clean, safe, and easy to operate, reducing the burden on medical staff and allowing patients to visit the hospital with peace of mind. We have developed a type of patient chair called ``pulizea''.

The most distinctive feature is the seamless seat shape that is integrated from the back and armrests to the seat surface.
Chemical-resistant integral skin foam (Note 1) is used as the cushioning material, and by eliminating unevenness, gaps, and seams, excellent cleaning performance is achieved. Ease of cleaning, safety, and workability were pursued, including a vertical adjustment lever that allows medical staff and caregivers to operate without bending down, and a seat rotation lock function to prevent falls.

The clear, rounded form with no protrusions gives a gentle impression that relieves the patient's tension, and the smoothness of the integrated back and seat gives a sense of cleanliness.

It eliminates unevenness, gaps, and seams, and has an unprecedented seat shape that integrates the elbows, back, and seat, reducing daily cleaning and keeping it clean. The cushion part uses integral skin foam (Note 1) with a medical coating and can be wiped with alcohol or hypochlorous acid.

The large seat size allows patients with unstable posture, such as the elderly, to sit and take off with peace of mind, and the elbows extend forward, making it easy to grip and use safely when standing or sitting.

A patient chair with a fixed seat prevents the seat from rotating unexpectedly when standing or sitting, and can be rotated only when necessary, such as during palpation.

The conventional up/down control lever under the seat has been installed on the back, allowing medical staff and caregivers to operate it without bending down. The height can be adjusted up and down to suit the patient's examination, supporting smooth examinations.
