Itoki partners with CLAS to create a sustainable society that does not throw things away

~ “Ethical consumption” is possible by working from home! ~

ITOKI CORPORATION (Head office: Chuo-ku, Tokyo; President: Yoshiro Hirai) has partnered with CLAS Corporation (Head office: Meguro-ku, Tokyo; President and CEO: Hirotake Kubo; hereinafter referred to as CLAS), which operates the furniture and home appliance subscription service CLAS. In order to contribute to the achievement of SDG Goal 12, "Responsible Consumption and Production," ITOKI will begin working to create a "society that does not throw things away" through the CLAS service infrastructure.

ITOKI x CLAS

ITOKI has long recognized that Planet environmental issues are the most important management issue, in order to pass on to the future a beautiful Planet that continues to live and a society rich in nature in which people live actively. Our environmental policy is to contribute to the realization of a sustainable society by making effective use of limited resources, conserving biodiversity, and reducing the burden on Planet environment.

This partnership with CLAS is expected to not only provide products for sustainable circular services, but also contribute to reducing waste by supplying genuine parts as needed, and contributing to the conservation of biodiversity. We believe that this is an expansion of services that are considerate of Planet environment.

In addition, by entering into a revenue share (*) agreement, you will be able to develop new customers while sharing business revenue, and you will be able to listen to the opinions of users who have actually used the product and reflect it in product development. Through this partnership, we aim to achieve Goal 12, ``Responsible Production and Responsible Consumption,'' of the Sustainable Development Goals (SDGs) advocated by the United Nations.

  • Revenue sharing is a contract method in which the orderer and the contractor share the profits and risks gained from the business. By utilizing CLAS's service infrastructure, you can reduce initial investment and conduct new customer development and marketing research.
